Match 04B Home vs Pala Mesa Loss 2-14

The good news is; the visiting team loved our course!  They raved about the condition, the greens, and especially the sand!  The bad news is they liked it better than the home team, apparently.  The efforts were gallant, but the results were wanton.  My rear end still smarts from the spanking I endured.  Everyone put in a good effort, but the boys in blue were only able to steal 2 points from the aggressive visiting team.  Final score Twin Oaks – 2, Pala Mesa – 16.  A bunch of really nice guys, but it doesn’t make the thrashing hurt any less.  Great effort guys, and special shoot out to Brian “The Smyter” Smith, Scott “Scooter” McClellan and Bob “Razzle-dazzle” Rosson, for stepping up in my time of need.  Unfortunately my reply with regards to The Smyter playing in the match, must have been unclear, because Razzle-dazzle showed up at the course Monday morning, thinking he was in the match.  My bad, I owe all of you a beer.  (Bob gets 2)
