Match 03A Home vs Torrey Pines Win 14-4

Team Blue finally got our first win of the season with a 14-4 result against Torrey Pines. All three teams contributed in this decisive win.

Team A of Val Primonte and Pete Humlicek won all 6 points with both our guys shooting gross 83's. Net 71 for Pete!

Team B of Steve Tugwell and Dave Mulgrew won 5 points behind the 89(net 72) by Steve Tugwell. Steve's shoulders were pretty tired after carrying his partner all day. Dave got pretty heavy as he was mud soaked after a fall on the slippery slope on the left side of hole 13. What a mess he was (and his game too!)

Team C of John Larisey and Jim Knight won 3 points in helping secure the victory for Team Blue.

We're hoping for a sweep of Torrey when we meet them again at their home course of Rancho Bernard Inn.
