Match 12B @ St. Marks Loss 2-16

Hey Team Blue:
Well our one game winning “streak” got stopped today with a thorough stomping by St Marks 16-2. Home cooking seemed to help these Marks Bros and they cruised to victory.
A few bright spots today:
1.Val and Jeff managed 2 points, with Val posting an 82/75.
2.The sun came out and it was a beautiful day to be hacking out of the long rough on the golf course.
3.The 19th hole was air-conditioned and remodeled. A very comfortable and relaxing after golf atmosphere telling tall tales and enjoying some liquid refreshment.
4. While we did play in a respectable 4 1/2 hours we could have done better if we weren’t looking for balls in the long rough. It was difficult to find the ball and even more difficult to hit from the rough. Overall though, good guys and good competition.
