Match 09A TO @ Chula Vista Win 12-6

It was a hot day at Chula Vista, probably caused by the Twin Oaks golfers, who were on fire!  I couldn’t have had a better partner, but he is not allowed to keep score or drive the golf cart anymore!  Just kidding Tom.  Teams one and two both got six points.  Myself and my partner were resigned to take just 4, being all square going into the 18th.  However, my chipping and putting, which had failed me much of the day, came back on that hole to get a par with a pop.  My partner got a bogey with a pop, and team Anderson took two points to win the back, having won the front by six!  The Smith Brothers put on their game faces, which could give a weaker person nightmares, and they trounced a 2 and 6 handicap to also pull off a six point win!  Team 3 played tough but were beaten by the match captain and my old wrestling coach, and his partner.  Twin Oaks – 12, Chula Vista – 6.
