Match 07A TO @ Torrey Pines (RBI) Loss 7-11

Team Blue came up a bit short at Rancho Bernardo Inn today against the Torrey Pines team.

Team 1 of Russ and Jeff managed to get two points on the back nine after being way down after nine. Their opponents were real “sticks” and could his the ball a mile….with accuracy.

Team 2 of Steve and Dave were even after 9 and split the two points with Torrey, but  won the back nine convincingly (sort of), They were up by three teeing off on 17 and made a mess of things giving up two points. The on the difficult par 5 18th , only up by one point Dave was able to par it and Steve got a bogie which was good enough to get the two points and win the match.

Team 3 wasn’t able to get a thing going today. One of their opponents shot a net 67 which helped to shut out Mike and Manley.

We get them next Monday at Twin Oaks and we’ll show them what “home-cookin” is all about.
