2019 Match 07B at Encinitas Ranch - Rainout to be rescheduled

Well we made “history” Monday, April 29 at Encinitas Ranch…we were rained out after 9 rainy, cold and soggy holes! In Seattle or Portland or Dublin or Glasgow they would of just played as if it was another typical dreary day…NOT US…if it ain’t sunny and perfect we AIN’T playin’!!! Honestly, it was a good decision on our part as it was raining pretty hard, the wind came up, the course was getting pretty sloppy and the Marshall told us the back nine would be cart part only…easy decision…go DIRECTLY to the 19th hole!!!
So the results after nine holes - was an even match! Team One of Al Pak and Jerry Owens lost by 2, Mitch Anderson and Paul McGurgan were even and Manley Bland and Dave Mulgrew won by 5. There is no rule in the Sr League to cover this situation, so we (the two match captains) think that Match 7B will end up as a tie 9-9. Stay tuned.

Note: since this write up, it has been determined by the Sr League Board, according to the constitution that the match should be re-scheduled and a  new18 hole match should be played.
