Twin Oaks Mens Golf Club

Battle Golf is a match-play format for one-vs.-one matches. When a golfer wins a hole, that golfer gets to do one of two things:

• Reach into the opponent's bag and remove a club (that club cannot be used again during the match, except in the case of the next provision)
• Or add one of their own clubs back into play that had previously been removed.

To reiterate, the winner of a hole gets to take away a club from the hole's loser (or add back one of their own clubs that was previously removed).

Flighted event based on number of players attending..

Payouts - Low front 9; Low back 9; Low total (using Stableford scoring)

TO Ryder Cup

In honor of the 2025 Ryder Cup, we will play a similar format utilizing 2-man teams.  Teams will be selected by our Golf Genius software.

     Holes 1-6 will be “Best Ball” (aka Fourball)

     Holes 7-12 will be “Alternate Shot”

     Holes 13-18 will be “Combined Score”

This will be a non-flighted event using 100% of handicaps.  Payouts will be based on number of players attending.

TWIN OAKS CUP - The top 8 POY Season Point holder will compete for the Twin Oaks Cup

LOW NET - All players will compete in a low net tournament

STABLEFORD GAME

FLIGHTED EVENT - Flights determined by number of players

1 point for net bogey

2 points for net par

3 points for net birdie

4 points for net eagle

5 points for net albatross

6 points for a hole in one

MATCH PLAY

#1 in POY standings - vs -  #2 in POY standings  ( or highest player available depending on players playing )

example - if #1 does not play, #2 would play #3 etc.

Low Net Game

Lowest 18 hole net score wins

FLIGHTED - flights determined by number of players
