Match 14A Home vs Cottonwood Win 17-1

Heys boys….   This was an important KEY match for Twin Oaks.

I can now hear you rolling your eyes and saying “How can it be a key match if we are in last place Boyer?”

My response would be “Good question! Let me explain.”   And then I would.

We are only in last place by a game…..  and who are we just behind?   Why Cottonwood of course.   And … who… pray tell did we just beat?

It was great ….  Team A : Curt Euhus and Mike Perez both broke 80 to beat their opponents … one of  which was a one handicap at Twin Oaks!

Team B:  Myself and Steve Tugwell were in a VERY close match and got by thru guile and luck

Team C:  Don Stinnett and our Fearless Leader Rick Hiscox (Playing his first match of the year)  really came thru.

We whopped them 17 – 1

I think if we win the away match next week ….   We may escape the ignominy of ending the season in last place.
