You always hear the negatives about away games, the air travel, the time zone changes, strange beds, meals and lots of other mental and physical excuses for not playing well on the road. Well Team Blue used the Home Course Advantage (HCA) (and home -cooking) to beat Torrey Pines, the number one team in the Sr League today 10-8, handing them only their third loss of the season.

Russ Friesen and Jeff Boyer battled to the last hole (winning the first nine, losing the second nine but getting the extra two points for their 3-2 point advantage. Well done! Russ (78/70) and Jeff (83/70) played exceptionally well today in a hard fought battle.

Team Two led by Steve Tugwell 88/71 who was chipping light's out today and the team took advantage of some mediocre play by Torrey's team two getting all six points.

Team Three, despite Manley Bland shooting (90/66) couldn't win any points today.
