2019 Match 01A Home vs Castle Creek Tie 9-9

Nothing like a soccer score for our season opener…Tied Castle Creek 9-9…if it was a playoff I think we would of beat them in a shoot out.

Scott McClellan anchored Team 1 with an outstanding 82 (net 67) and Brian Smith was outstanding on Team 2 with an 85 (net 69).

Al Dyson and Dave Mulgrew sucked equally and couldn’t get a much needed point, while their opponents played very well with a net 67 and 70.

Maybe Al and I are more suited to the Castle Creek Cow Pasture and we’ll turn things around next Friday.

Good thing we were able to get in the match after all the rain we had on Thursday. The course was pretty wet but very playable. Good job on the Twin Oaks grounds crew getting the course cleaned up!
