2017 Sr. League Match Play Results

The TOMGC Senior Team is again a member of the SD County Sr. Golf League for the 2017 season. The League has been in continual operation since it was founded in 1967.  The League celebrated it's 50th anniversary with a golf and feast day at Fairbanks Ranch on 10/9/17. 

 TOMGC, now in our 10th season in the League, is one of 19 teams in the League from all over San Diego County.  The League web site: http://www.sdcsgolfleague.com/index.html includes lots of information such as schedules, results, standings and special events for the entire League. Our final 2017 regular  season record was 17-17-2.  The 2017 Player of the Year (POY) Spead Sheet is attached.  The winner was Tom Rousseau - CONGRATS Tom!!   Manley was a runnerup after a fine season.

We qualified for the 2017 playoffs.   We defeated Pala Mesa 13-11 in the Playoffs first round on 11/03/17 - FineTeam effort with each of our 2 men reams getting at least 1 point. The Tom Rousseau/Don Dudley Team took all their points with a 6-0 away win  @ Pala Mesa. Scott McClellan/Manley Bland were 5-1 winners at home.  We lost to Temeku Hills in a hotley contested match for the North Division Championship.  Manley Bland and Rick LaPlant were perfect with a 6-0 victory in their match.  John (JC) Cochran had an excellent Gross 77 with Bill Jackson and Mark Meddock performing well with Gross 81 & 82 respectively.  Scott McClellan's net 66 was the best net for either team.  Chula Vista beat Temeku Hills for the 2017 League Championship. on 11/17/17.

The 2018 TOMGC Team includes Jim Valenti (Captain), Rick Hiscox (Co- Captain) and  Alternate Captains Scott McClellan, Mitch Anderson and Dave Mulgrew.  Other Team Members are Manley Bland, Phil Bystrom, Jack Cabral,  John Cochran, Al Dyson, Russ Friesen, Mike Giulianotti, Pete Humlicek, Richard LaPlant, Marty Leonard, Mike Martens, Mark Meddock , Jerry Owens, Tom Nesvold, Dave Pangle, Chuck Patrick, andn Tom Rousseau
